Addis Ababa, September 9, 2021 (FbC) – Project Coordinator and the Innovation and Technology Minister, Abrham Belay (PhD) announced activities aimed to transform the Wonchi-Dendi ecotourism project into an African tourism destination.

Wonchi-Dendi is one of the projects which are being implemented under the of the “Dine for Ethiopia” initiative. On the occasion, Abrham said the project is ecofriendly and aimed to utlize immense natural resources of the area for the benefit of the community in the area.

Jobs to be created out of the project will mainly benefit the community around the project site, he noted.

According to him, coordinated efforts are being extrted to convert the the Wonchi-Dendi ecotourism into an African tourism destination in a way to tap immense potential of the country in the sector.
